Ventilation Holes

It was now time for some ventilation in the side panels, and I decided to use the mesh inserts from some Bitspower radiator grilles for this job.

I would need a total of 12 cut-outs to accommodate the mesh grilles - four on each side of the top section and two on each side of the main case. The first job was to cut down the stock side panels to fit the top section, After that, I laid down the Bitspower grille (cut and covered in masking tape) to use as a template to mark out the openings for each grille.

Once again, using a fret saw, I cut out each individual opening, and then followed this up by filing and sanding to a perfect fit (as you can see below), which made for neat, flush mounted vents.

It was then time to make the two radiator brackets for the bottom case. Basically, I just turned the standard six drive bays into four, which enabled me to mount the two radiators below in a separate little rad box.
